What to Expect from the visit...

The first session will involved an initial assessment of your horse including his full history and any previous areas for concern. The assessments will go in the following order:

  • Dynamic Assessment

Your horse will be seen walking and trotting on a straight line. This will include a visual analysis  of the horses posture, balance and asymmetry of muscles.

  • Static Assessment

The horse will be examined for the correct skeletal body alignment, legs and joints will be examined for full range of motion. This will be followed by a thorough palpation of the horse to determine stress points and sore muscular areas.

  • Massage Therapy

Your horse will then be treated using different hands on techniques such as effleurage, compression, cross fiber friction and a deep muscle stimulant gun will be used over the body targeting those very tight muscles to regain suppleness.

  • Stretches

A series of complex stretches will be performed for your horses requirements. A talk through of the  future stretching techniques will be discussed with the owner.
